The OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro have been launched. The two phones have been launched through an online event.

The key features of the OnePlus 8 series are its Snapdragon 865 processor and revamped cameras.
OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro feature 5G support and come with hole-punch display design. The OnePlus 8-series phones also have up to 12GB of RAM and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. On the part of major differences, the OnePlus 8 Pro features a quad rear camera setup, while the OnePlus 8 has triple rear cameras.

- The OnePlus 8 Pro price is set at $899 (Around Rs. 68,400) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option,
- whereas its 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model carries a price tag of $999 (AroundRs. 76,000).
- The phone comes in Glacial Green, Onyx Black, and Ultramarine Blue (only for 12GB + 256GB) colour options.

- OnePlus 8 price is set at $699 (Around Rs. 53,200) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant
- While its 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at $799 (Around Rs. 60,800).
- The phone has Glacial Green and Interstellar Glow (only 12GB+256GB) colour shades to choose from, A Polar Silver colour is also available, exclusive to Verizon.

Processor:
Both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. This is the top-of-the-line processor for Android phones this year.
RAM:
The OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro come in two variants: 8GB variant and 12GB variant. But there is one difference. The OnePlus 8 Pro is a phone with DDR5 memory whereas the OnePlus 8 is still using DDR4.
Internal storage:
Both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro are going to be available in two variants: 128GB and 256GB variants.
Screen:
The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch screen, with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. The OnePlus 8 comes with a 6.55-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Both use OLED panels.
Rear camera:
The OnePlus 8 Pro has four rear cameras. The primary camera uses a 48-megapixel image sensor paired with an F1.78 lens. The ultra-wide-angle camera also uses a 48-megapixel sensor. The telephoto camera with 3X zoom uses an 8-megapixel image sensor and the fourth camera has a 5-megapixel sensor with colour filter. The OnePlus 8 has three rear cameras: a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens camera.

Oxygen OS based on Android 10.
Battery:
OnePlus 8 has a 4300 mAh battery. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 4510 mAh battery.
The OnePlus 8 Pro supports fast 30W charging through wired charger as well as a wireless charger. OnePlus 8 lacks wireless charging.
Both Phone will be available for purchase starting April 21 in the UK (and other European regions) and April 29 in the US. Pre-orders start from today.
However, details about its India pricing and availability are yet to be revealed, but will be announced later this month.
